Los organizadores gráficos: elementos y procedimientos básicos para su diseño

Abstract
De manera cotidiana, en las aulas, se acostumbra a construir los organizadores gráficos de forma empírica. No se sigue un proceso sistemático. No obstante, su diseño apropiado exige del conocimiento de su estructura básica y la ejecución de dos procesos fundamentales. Para comprobar esta suposición, se preparó, como medio didáctico, un texto referencial en el cual se describen tres elementos básicos y el desarrollo académico de los procesos de esencialización y estructuración informativa. Luego, este instrumento se aplicó a un grupo de 68 estudiantes de tres carreras de la Universidad Técnica del Norte. Al final, se constató su validez como material didáctico aplicable para potenciar la comprensión de los contenidos de estudio.
